The Serbian President, Alexandar Vucic, launched a veiled threat to the territory of Kosovo, if UNMIK leaves the region and Kosovo forms its own army.
Vucic didn’t specify the type of action his country would undertake in Kosovo, but he said that Serbia would be left with no choice but to protect its own people.
His declaration came right after the US Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, called for an exit strategy for the UN Mission in Kosovo, known as UNMIK.
