A person has detonated an explosive at the US Embassy in Podgorica, as confirmed by Montenegrin authorities.
The attack took place in the first hours of this morning. A suicide bomber killed himself a few minutes after detonating an explosive near the US Embassy”, the announcement says.
Authorities say he threw a hand grenade towards the embassy, but investigations are still undergoing. The US Embassy in Montenegro confirmed the attack, but they said the motives are yet unknown.
