The Albanian government and Tirana University have financed the first
phase of the detailed project for the constructing of the new University
Corpus, expected to house more than 15,000 students.
The Rector of Tirana University, Dhori Kule, declared that this project costs 100 million ALL and will continue for several months.
The project will be finalized by the end of this financial year and will be ready to get executed in terrain.
The final construction cost of the University Corpus is 25 million EUR, and part of the funds will be provided by the University itself.
This Corpus will be built by the “Liria” building, near the Students’ Town.
