The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, said that the three new neighbourhoods of Tirana, which have increased significantly in the past yers (Astiri, Botanic Garden and Fresku), will turn into proper local units.
Veliaj said that this is a good opportunity to administer their territory, the services and problems that concern the residents of these areas that were created after the 1990s.
The Mayor said that now that they have the possibility to cooperate with the new opposition in Parliament, they will make possible the creation of these two units.
