Tirana is valued as one of the most innovatory cities for 2017, at the world summit of intelligent cities that is held in Ankara, Turkey.
During the meeting with the Mayor of Ankara, Veliaj underlined the increased cooperation between both municipalities.
“Our ambition is to plant 2 million tries in Tirana, while Ankara has already planted 3 million trees. This means that it is possible, and we are learning from the best”, Veliaj said.
The Mayor of Tirana valued Erion Veliaj as one of the most dynamic new Mayors.
“This is your second address here in Ankara because there is a large community of Albanians here. We have no doubt that it is an honour to reinforce this cooperation. It is an honour for us to work with a new dynamic mayor as you”, said Mustafa Tuna, Mayor of Ankara.
