The Municipality of Tirana has started a new initiative, offering citizens a cloth bag in exchange of their plastic bags.
The initiative started with Tirana’s “New Market” (Pazari i Ri) area.
The purpose is to raise awareness among citizens for reducing the number of plastic bags, one of the biggest polluters.
