Tirana Municipality, 17 new schools will end double-shift teaching

Five years ago, entire neighborhoods around Municipal Units 4 and 8 in the Albanian capital would have been flooded by autumn rainfall, but the new sewage network and the repaired Lana River bed has made it safe for these areas.
The Vice Mayor of Tirana, Anisa Ruseti, met with the residents of these units at the Ardian Klosi School, which has been recently built, to discuss the transforming projects that will be implemented in these areas during 2020.
One of the priorities will be the construction of 17 new schools and the new University Campus.
“The 17 new schools will bring the double-shift teaching once and for all”, Ruseti declared.
