The Municipality of Tirana has started the biggest investment in the aqueduct for the past 20 years.
The procedure doubles the processing capacity and the water filtering system in Bovilla, and also the construction of a new grid that will improve the water supply for citizens in the suburbs.
Considering this as the new era of the water system in Tirana, Mayor Veliaj said that the investment was made possible by the great performance of the Tirana Aqueduct and EBRD assistance.
