The Spokesperson of the Albanian government, Elisa Spiropali, declared that the leadership discussed the procedures for removing President Meta from his office, starting from the session of this Thursday.
“The Socialist Party discussed the brutal action of the President against the Parliamentary Republic. The leadership has decided to hold a parliamentary debate this Thursday, to argue how Ilir Meta has attacked the republic and how he has invented an institution that doesn’t exist in any country of the world: repealing a decree. It will be up to the Electoral College or the Central Election Commission to review it from the legal point of view”, Spiropali declared.
