After withdrawing from Brussels talks, the President of Serbia, Alexandar Vucic, is expected to boycott the UN talks as well. He may be represented by Prime Minister Ana Brnabic.
The President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, is expected to meet with the US President, Donald Trump, a meeting that Serbian media consider a strong hit against Belgrade.
The US Ambassador to Belgrade, Kyle Scott, has underlined that the USA favors a peaceful solution of the agreemen and that they support the stance of the EU High Representative for Europe, Federica Mogherini.
Thaci and Vucic are pushing the idea of not changing borders, while Mogherini declared that for her, every solution is acceptable as long as it remains in accordance with the international right.
One day ago, the Serbian Foreign Minister, Ivica Dacic, declared that the border idea is the only concrete one given so far and that Serbia supported it because the USA, Russia, Italy, France and the EU have changed their stance and want a peaceful solution for Kosovo.
