The EU Ambassador to Albania, Luigi Soreca, congratulated the US Ambassador for her new job.
“Welcome to the new US Ambassador to Albania H.E. Yuri Kim!
“Ready to start working together to continue the fundamental EU-US partnership in Albania, in particular in the context of the country’s #EU integration process. 2020 is a crucial year for the European perspective of Albania.
“It’s hard to underestimate the importance of the US and EU ambassadors in Albania – their role is huge in the country.
“Albania is waiting for EU accession talks to be opened with a view to that happening at the May summit in Zagreb.
