Taulant Balla, the head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, said that the Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, should be criminally prosecuted for receiving Russian funds for his party.
“Basha and the Democratic Party must be held accountable for the illegal funds they received during their protest for the ‘New Republic’. The dark sources of this funding are enough of a reason for Lulzim Basha to be criminally prosecuted and morally punished by every honest democrat”, Balla declared.
The Socialist Party MP said that Basha must tell the public what did he promise to Russian businessmen in exchange of those payments.
