Secret meeting Albania-Greece

Since the Greek Medias were on a four-day strike, what was made public is only the fact that the Albanian delegates were accompanied in Ioannina by the Greek ambassador in Tirana, Nikolas Pazios, but their names remain unknown.

The second person in charge of the Greek diplomacy expressed his government’s concern on the Albanian investigations for the death of Aristotel Guma, who belongs to the Greek minority in Albania.

“Greece will leave all options open for the future actions regarding this case”, said Dholis, emphasizing that it was condemned by all international diplomats in Albania.

This declaration was also supported by the Spokesperson for the Greek Foreign Ministry, Grigoris Delavekoras, some days earlier.

The Greek diplomat has also referred to the recent “challenge of the Çams”, as he called their attempt to celebrate in Igumenica the anniversary of the killing of their predecessors, giving to the Albanian counterpart the message that Greece will not allow such provocations.

The Greek General Chief of State Police asked the Albanian authorities’ cooperation on drug trafficking between the borders and on illegal antic objects.

According to the sources that Top Channel was able to secure, the Greeks proposed to build a modern prison in Albania that would be financed by Athens.

The prison will be built wherever the Albanian authorities will decide, and most of Albanian prisoners in Greece will be sent there, even those who are sentenced for committing serious crimes.

After the secret meeting was concluded, no declarations were released for the press by each delegation.
