Rama with Vucic and Zaev: Can’t wait for the EU. We’re no longer their priority

Edi Rama, Alexandar Vucic and Zoran Zaev promised to implement the commitments they have taken for a deeper cooperation.

Rama said in a press release that the commitments and the projects that will be taken forward come from the Berlin Process.

The Albanian Prime Minister underlined that Western Balkans is no longer a priority of the EU, but this should not stop the three countries from progressing with the cooperation agenda.

“Our agenda is no different than what we have discussed with the international partners, but we are changing the format between us, without waiting for the EU to find time for us. Let’s accept the reality. We are no longer a priority of the EU. Their priority is to reform themselves. We cannot wait to become a priority for the Eu once again, but we must advance by structuring a new, active behavior”, Rama said.

He guaranteed that the cooperation of the three countries has nothing new from what has been discussed so far.
