Rama: “Online betting websites will be closed as well”

The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, declared that the law against gambling will also block online betting websites, including foreign companies as well.
“The opposition says that my brother will keep the bets. The truth is that all bets will be closed. We will also block online bets coming from abroad. We are talking about millions. We will see how it goes”, Rama said.
Rama sent a message to the Parliamentary Commission of Economy, saying that betting shops will be closed on December 31st and there will be no online monopoly.
