The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, declared that the recommendation of the European Commission for opening Albania’s accession negotiations should not be read as an opening of the negotiations.
In an interview for Deutsche Welle in Germany, Rama insists that Albania has completed its obligations, but he doesn’t exclude unpleasant surprises that are related to political stances than to Albania’s progress.
Rama said that Albania should not become victim of political games, being used to advance with agendas that have nothing to do with what Albania has done so far.
