President Meta meets Schaulbe: “Opening negotiations, positive signal for the region”

During his visit in Germany, the President of Albania, Ilir Meta, was received by the German Parliament Speaker, Wolfgang Schauble.
Meta said that the opening of the accession negotiations would be a positive signal for all the forces in the region.
“It would only help for better addressing the priorities and fulfilling the necessary criteria and standards. It would be a positive signal for all forces in the region”, Meta declared.
He valued the role of Germany in Albania’s EU integration, asand underlined the significance of Germany’s positive decision for opening Albania’s Eua ccession negotiations.
