President Meta does not authorize Foreign Minister for border agreement with Greece

Meta notes that the authorization request coming from the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs did not clearly specify the object of the negotiations. Meta asks the Ministry to make available additional information.

Another point that is not clear for the president, is the negotiating group. According to Meta, its members should come from the best experts in all areas, so that the representation of the Albanian state can be to the level of this required negotiation.

Another problem for President Meta is the issue of standards and methods that will be used for negotiations. For the president, these criteria are a constitutional necessity for the plenipotentiary authorization.
