The head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Gramoz Ruçi,
denounced the violence that was used against Socialist MP, Ilir Gjoni.
Ruçi declared that the attack was performed by persons who were
organized by the government to steal the electoral votes.
Ruçi declared that Berisha in one hand invites the opposition to dialogue, and on the other incites street crime.
“The violence against MP Ilir Gjoni and SP elected MPs shows that Sali Berisha is not sparing anything for stealing the votes. Not even violence against Members of the Parliament and against the opposition, because the Albanian law doesn’t punish anyone. This is the state of Sali Berisha, who on one hand asks the opposition to dialogue, and on the other hand incites criminals to attack people who were elected by the Albanians, in order to spread terror in his republic of fear, which is being installed day after day. I appeal Sali Berisha and all of his followers that this event and others like this cannot be forgotten in silence, because we will never allow that the violence, fear, manipulation and abuses against common citizens go without punishment”, Ruçi declared.
