Law and Justice Party leader, Spartak Ngjela, attacked the President Bamir Topi for not addressing to the Commission of Venice for the May 8th Elections in Tirana and the issue of miscast votes.

According
to his interview for “Shqip” newspaper, the head of the state should
had been the one to address this problem to the Commission of Venice. Ngjela thinks that the initiative of the opposition for addressing this issue to the Commission of Venice is delayed.

The head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Gramoz Ruçi,
sent a letter to the General Secretary of the Council of Europe, asking
the opinion of the Commission of Venice regarding the May 8th process
and miscast votes.

Based
on this, they will also ask their opinion if the procedure followed by
the Central Election Commission reaches the standards of free and honest
elections. Ngjela accused
the Electoral College for the decision. The Law and Justice Party leader
says that the stolen Tirana elections will put the Albanian public
opinion in motion.
