National Guard sues former officers for the killings of 2011

After giving 2.1 million EUR to the relatives of the victims that were killed on January 21st, 2011, the National Guard has filed civilian lawsuits against the former National Guard Commander, Ndrea Prendi, and the National Guard Unit Chief, Agim Llupo.

They were both found guilty for murder, and the National Guard wants them to pay the damage deriving from the Tirana Court, which gave 525.000 EUR to each family.

Andrea Prendi and Agim Llupo served 1 year and 3 years in prison respectively.
