The master of Albanian folkloric dances, Rexhep Celiku, has passed away today at 63.
Celiku, born in Tirana in 1954, had been suffering for years from a serious disease.
In 1976 he worked as a dancer at the National Ensemble of Folkloric Dances and Songs. He has participated in 8000 within and outside Albania.
Celiku received the “Grand Master” title by former President Alfred Moisiu, and “Nation’s Honor” by President Meta just a few days ago.
