The Albanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its regret for the
police agent that lost his life and the many others that were wounded.
The Republic of Albania has always supported and supports Kosovo independence and its sovereignty in the entire Kosovo territory, which has been internationally recognized by 77 states, as a factor of peace and stability in Balkan.
“It is indispensable to find solutions through dialogue, to implement the “Strategy for Northern Kosovo” made by Kosovo Government and the International Civil Office, which will make possible expanding the full power of the legally elected Kosovo authorities in Northern Kosovo”, the declaration says.
