The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo also wants a recount, hoping to change the results of local elections in Prishtina.

AAK’s member, Arber Vllahiu, said that Shpend Ahmeti of the Self-Determination Movement has won with only 200 votes.

This advantage, Vllahiu says, will get smaller after counting the special-condition ballots. A total recount may be needed as well.

“I don’t want to change the electoral process and I don’t want to believe that there has been manipulation, but if there are concerns, they need to be addressed”, he said.

The name of the definitive winner for Prishtina and Prizren will be announced this Thursday, after recounting special conditioned ballots.

The Self-Determination Movement is certain that their victory will not change, while PDK, same as AAK, also hopes to change the result.
