The second meeting of the Stabilization-Association Council between Kosovo and the EU was completed this Friday in Brussels, with the annulment of a joint press release and with a communication which appeals to implement agreements reached during the talks between Kosovo and Serbia, focused on normalizing their relations.
The EU Chief of Foreign Policy and Security, Federica Mogherini, declared that the Council reminded that the Stabilization Association Agreement is the core of relations between Kosovo and the EU. It guarantees contractual terms within which the EU and Kosovo will intensify their cooperation and will continue to develop relations”.
The EU officials said that a joint conference with journalist was canceled due to the agenda, but sources within the EU said that the conference was canceled due to disagreements that they had during the meeting.
