Businesses in Kosovo are not in favor of the Balkan Schengen that has been announced by the leaders of Albania, Northern Macedonia and Serbia.
Although they oppose it right now, when 36 economic agreements between Albania are not being implemented, they are not saying that they are against the project.
Astrit Panxha, executive director of the Kosovo producers club, says that they must first open the market between the two Albanian-speaking countries.
Sokol Kraja, leader of the Albanian Producers’ Union, underlined the need of creating a joint Albania-Kosovo market, as the first step for making businesses grow.
