The President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, said that the refusal of Albania’s and Northern Macedonia’s EU accession negotiations is a great disappointment.
Juncker appreciated the work done by the EU Summit last week and said that the decision to not open the negotiations is a great disappointment that will have a deep impact on both countries.
“No one will believe a Europe that doesn’t keep its promises”, Juncker declared.
As for Brexit, he said that the process is a great loss of time and energy.
“We must be ready8 for any kind of scenario. As I told the British PM, Brexit without a deal will never be the favorite scenario for the EU.
