The Minister of Interior, Sander Lleshaj, declared that the high number of deaths caused by motorized vehicles is still concerning for the authorities.
Lleshaj said that more people die each day because of road accidents than any other cause.
“We have started an effort that will grow in 2020, since it is the year of road security.
“227 died in 2019 by car accidents, 50 were killed by crime. This number needs to get lower”, Lleshaj declared.
