Ambassador Grenell, President Donald Trump’s special envoy for the Pristina-Belgrade dialogue, met with the Self-Determination Movement leader, Albin Kurti, demanding that Kosovo should repeal the 100% tax on Serbian goods.
Immediately after the meeting with Albin Kurti, Richard Grenell stated that he is not there for the issue of creating the next Kosovo government.
He said he told Kurti that even bigger countries like Britain and Germany have had issues with the creation of a stable ruling coalition.
But Grenell said that his focus was on the economy, taking as example the Trump administration.
For him, in order to create new jobs, Kosovo needs to work hard for economic development.
For this reason, he reiterated that the 100% tax on Serbian and Bosnian goods must be removed.
Grenell said that Serbia, on the other hand, should also stop its campaign against Kosovo.
