The Greek Prime Minister, Alexis Tsipras, said that he will take over the duties of his resigned Foreign Minister, Nikos Kotzias, in order to guarantee the completion of the historic Prespa agreement.

Kotzias has resigned after some harsh debates with the Defense Minister Kammenos, who had introduced a second plan, in case the Prespa agreement would fail.

Sources at the Prime Minister’s Office say that the foreign policy of Greece will not change, especially as regards the agreements made with neighbours. Tsipras has also sent a new message to Macedonian leaders, encouraging them to complete the agreement, since there would be no second chance.
