Fratar tragedy, pretense given for Greek driver

Fier Prosecution asked 18 years in prison for the Greek citizen, Thoma
Gjokas, the bus driver who caused the Fratari tragedy that took the
lives of 9 persons.

The defendant was absent, represented by his lawyer. The judge panel heard the prosecution pretenses, which gave a detailed description of the entire event, based on the evidence that was collected for supporting the charges against the bus driver.

 The prosecution asked the judge panel to take the evidence in consideration and to sentence the bus driver to 18 years in prison. The judge panel heard the prosecutors and assigned another session for the next week, in which they will hear the defendant’s arguments for the final session.
