Football referee accused of racism

Bad news in Albanian football are usually about fixed matches or fans clashing with each other. But recently there has been another stain, this time for racism.

Tirana Football Club has reported referee Olsi Sokoli of being racist during their match with Kastrioti.

“The referee has decided to influence the final result, initially by provoking footballer Michael Ngoo with racist slurs. His words have provoked the players of Tirana FC and its staff, forcing them to demand a radical punishment by suspending Olsi Sokoli for racist slur”, the official reaction says.
