EU appeals Kosovo to withdraw 10% tax increase on Serbian products

The EU wants Kosovo and Serbia to create a positive climate and continue the talks that aim normalizing the relations. For this reason, they asked Kosovo to withdraw the decision to increase taxes on goods coming from Serbia and Bosnia Herzegovina.
The appeals of Brussels came after the failed meeting between the Serbian and Albanian Presidents, which ended up without any progress. Serbia declared that they would not progress with the talks if Kosovo doesn’t withdraw the tax in question.
Kosovo imposed the tax as response to the aggressive campaign that Serbia started against the recognition of Kosovo’s independence.
