DP: Rama pressuring Electoral College

The Democratic Party considered some declarations of the opposition’s leader as pressure against the Electoral College.

The Spokesperson of this party opposed opposition’s declarations for victory by reminding that the ruling coalition won the total of votes in the entire country.

“Mr. Rama returned today to his series of over repeated attacks against the Electoral College, through unacceptable pressures and threats, completely based on a reality that doesn’t exist. First of all, the Albanian citizens gave 140,000 ballots less for the Socialist coalition, while the coalition of the Democratic Party received 17% more all over the country. This is a deep loss for the coalition that Mr. Rama led towards an imaginary victory that doesn’t exist”, said DP Spokesperson, Albana Mustafaraj.

“Seven Municipal Units that the Socialist Party lost in Tirana, is your personal loss, or your imaginary victory, Mr. Rama? The Parliament of the Albanian capital is your next defeat, or your personal imaginary victory, because it is impossible for both of them to exist. As for Mr. Rama’s declarations, saying that these great victories of his have enraged the opponent, all that the Democratic Party can say is to congratulate Mr. Rama ‘have a good time with such electoral victories in the future’”, she added.
