The Albanian and Greek Prime Ministers met in an amicable atmosphere at the Dubrovnik summit.

Sources say that the discussion focused on Albania’s European path and the necessity to open the accession negotiations.

They also discussed the bilateral relations, mainly in the economic aspect.

Tsipras underlined once again that the main condition for starting Albania’s accession negotiations is respecting the rights of the Greek minority in Albania.

Both leaders also discussed about removing irredentist terms, as the Greek Prime Minister considered the Albanian school texts; and also about the cemetery of Greek soldiers in Albania.

In the second part of the discussion they focused on the bilateral cooperation and economic assistance that would improve Albania’s infrastructure. Sources said for Top Channel that both parties were happy about the results of this meeting.
