Democratic Party MP: “International partners threatened us, if we boycotted elections”

The Democratic Party MP, Edi Paloka, said that they were threatened by international partners when they had decided to boycott elections.

“We were threatened. They said that if we make no agreement, if we did on the election day what we had declared, to not allow the elections, then we would be facing them”, Paloka said.

Paloka accused the critics of Basha of being hypocrits.

“The ones who accused Basha about doing that agreement, they are the same who urged him to make an agreement. Majlinda Bregu and Astrit Patozi have admitted this”, Paloka said.

He added that personally he was against the agreement with Edi Rama, and that the way how the candidate list of the Democratic Party was formed, has influenced the bad election result.

“I told him that we couldn’t enter these elections. The list was a mistake and Basha admitted it”, Paloka declared.
