The Commander of the Allied Forces in Naples, the US Admiral James Foggo, declared that the transformation of the Kosovo Security Forces into a proper army represents the sovereign decision of Kosovo.
He said that this is a sovereign decision that should be approved by the Kosovo Parliament.
‘Kosovo is a democratic country, the same as Serbia or Macedonia. In a democracy, you are the ones who chose who will decide for you”, said Foggo in a meeting with the Macedonian Defense Minister, Radmilla Shekerinska.
According to him, Kosovo will need 10 years for the complete transformation.
