CoVid-19 update / 304 number of infected in Albania

The number of people affected by the deadly coronavirus has reached 304 after 27 new cases have been confirmed in the last 24 hours.

“We inform you that field work to identify new cases and track contacts of confirmed positive cases is ongoing.
112 suspects have been tested in the last 24 hours, of which 27 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed.

“To date, 2031 suspected cases have been tested and 304 were confirmed positive with COVID-19.
The mean age of positive cases of COVID-19 is 50 years.

“The good news is that in the last 24 hours we have 13 cured patients bringing the number recovered COVID-19 patients to 89.
“We inform you that there are currently 73 coronavirus patients in the infectious service. 7 of them are in intensive care of which 2 are intubated”, stated the Institute of Public Health.
