The great Italian actress, Claudia Cardinale arrived yesterday in
Albania for participating at the International Film Festival that is
being held in Durres.
Cardinale is expected to sign the Boulevard of Art on the fourth night of the festival. The first name in the Boulevard of Stars was the polish producer and director, Krysztof Zanussi, who was honored in the last edition of this festival with the Career Prize.
Cardinale will receive the Silver Prize in Durres, as an iconic figure of the Italian cinema. This evening, the “Alexander Moisiu” theatre will also show the film “Being an Italian with Mrs. Enrica”, of the director Ali Ilhan, with the participation of Claudia Cardinale.
The fourth International Film Festival opened on August 27th and will continue until September 2nd.
In the opening ceremony, the director Mihallaq Luarazi handed the Career Prize to the well known Albanian actor Vangjush Furrxhi, which was received by the wife of the deceased actor, Marilda Furrxhi.
