The Central Election Commission has just started the ballot counting process for the miscast votes of Municipal Unit 9.
There are 152 ballot boxes in total to be counted. The process is being carried out after the decision given by the Electoral College, which partially approved the Socialist Party request.
The candidate of the ruling Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, is leading with 72 votes more than his rival, the opposition leader Edi Rama.
SP published new facts today, which, according to them, prove that the ballot boxes of some municipal units have more ballots than voters.
