CEC, Ristani dismisses another SP observer

Chairman of the Central Election Commission, Arben Ristani, dismissed
the Socialist Party observer for the miscast ballots counting process of
Municipal Unit 5.
According to latest information, Ristani argued his decision with the pretense that observer Altin Gjino has used unacceptable way of communication in the room.
SP commissioner in CEC, Genc Gjoncaj protested against this decision, accusing the Chairman of dismissing left centered observers without valid reasons.
“CEC Chairman is dismissing our observers without any reasons. SP observer was doing his job and expressed his contestation”, Gjoncaj declared.
This is the second SP observer that has been dismissed by the counting process, after Anila Çobani.
Meanwhile, the counting process for the ballot boxes of Municipal Unit 5 has ended, resulting with 7 votes for Lulzim Basha and 3 for Edi Rama.
Until now, the Democratic Party candidate leads with 82 votes against Rama.
