CEC, counting is over, Basha leads with 95 votes

With Municipal Unit 11, the Central Election Commission concluded the counting process for miscast ballots.
The Electoral College ordered CEC to open 1793 ballot boxes for 368 voting centers. The counters found 498 miscast ballots in total, almost equally shared between the two candidates, with DP candidate leading with only 14 ballots.
With these 14 ballots, the total difference is 95 ballots for Basha.
SP legal representative Genc Gjoncaj said that the integrity of the process was violated and that the Socialist Party reserved the right to make an appeal.
But CEC spokesperson Leonard Olli considers the process as transparent and correct. CEC is expected to add these ballots to the general summary table of Tirana, but they haven’t appointed a next meeting yet.
