The Catania Court of Appeal decided this Thursday to leave Moisi Habilaj in prison, together with five of his alleged collaborators. They will all stay in prison until trial.

The evidence brought by the Catania Prosecution for their involvement in international drug traffic have been convincing for the judges, who rejected their appeal.

Habilaj and his five alleged collaborators did not hesitate to demand their freedom, despite the evidence against them.

Their arrest in Sicily has also caused a political uproar in Albania. The Albanian Prosecution has issued an arrest order for former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri.
