“Book Fair” jury votes Best Authors and Translators of 2017

One day before the Book Fair ends in Tirana, a jury made of literature personalities voted for the best authors and translators for the 20th edition.
This year’s author was Betim Muco, with “Yjet Jane Fare Prane”, for treating the emigration topic with an elegant style. The prize was accepted by his sister since the author passed away two years ago.
Diana Culi was voted Best Translator for bringing into Albanian the work of the Arberesh author, Carmine Abate.
Agron Alibali was voted for Best Original Literary Study, with his book “Faik Konica dhe Dritehijet e nje Diplomati”.
Persida Asllani, in her effort to bring a book for children, was very successful with the book about Musine Kokalari, “Me Quajne Musine Kokalari”.
Publishing houses “Onufri”, “Pika pa siperfaqe”, and three libraries “Adrion”, “Arjan Goga” in Shkoder and “Artini” in Prishtina were voted for contributing to take readers closer to books.
