Berisha-Topi debates

The reassessment of miscast ballots, according to them, is not only a perverse result, but also the violation of Albanian President’s vote.

Now they see this matter under a new light, after Top-Channel published the protocol of the distribution of the miscast ballots and the inconsistencies that were noticed.

“Berisha knows very well that 2013 elections will be a very close and difficult race. In this sense, he values every vote that can leak from his party, and President Topi is a possible vote leak. This was seen in the role of President Topi in Tirana. This vote was not used against the candidate of the majority. We are in a process when Berisha is trying to tighten his position against the Albanian President, in order to politically eliminate him after he will lose his mandate”, Minxhozi declared.

“The goal of the Central Election Commission was to undo Rama’s victory with 10 votes ahead, and CEC also had a great role for giving the Prime Minister the necessary material for making up accusations against his political rivals. As we saw, there was no reason for the Democratic Party commissioners to ask the other ballot boxes and to count the box where the Albanian President had voted. I think that there is another issue with this case. Vote secrecy in Tirana elections was not guaranteed. Another case like this would be sufficient to nullify Tirana elections”, Bushati emphasized.
