After the Electoral College announced its latest decision for Tirana,
Prime Minister Berisha declared in his first comment that this was a
historical decision of the Electoral College that, according to him, serves as a
lesson for the Albanian politicians about respecting the law.
After listing some electoral results, especially the 140,000 votes that the government coalition has taken more than the opposition, Prime Minister Berisha not only did not show any euphoria, but he also insisted with his offer for cooperating with the opposition.
After greeting the initiative of the Socialist Party for addressing the case to the Commission of Venice, the Prime Minister declared that he was ready to start the electoral reform, in full cooperation with OSCE-ODIHR, in order to improve the electoral system.
