Basha, declared that he will wait the final
result certification, emphasizing that the Central Election Commission guaranteed a fair counting of every ballot, listening to the voice of every citizen.
In a press release, some hours after CEC announced the changed
result, Basha declared that the victory achieved in these elections is a
victory of democracy. The process was just and transparent, and democracy was also
put in test, because the result was very narrow.
“I believe that we changed the way politics work. All this was achieved by putting you first, as you deserve. I will wait the end of the process that must continue in full accordance with the law”, Basha declared.
The Democratic Party candidate invited supporters of both sides to calmly wait the election certifications, because this is a moment of reflection.
