Four days before the protest, the Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, is travelling around Albania appealing citizens to join their protest. He is trying to convince them that the international community is also expecting Rama’s fall.
“Europe is waiting. They have their eyes on us. This government would have fallen long time ago in Europe and half of them would have been in prison. On February 16th, our strength will be upon the parliament of thieves. And this is a European and constitutional unification”, Basha said.
