Basha: “Rama is threatening Prosecutors and the Judiciary”

The opposition leader said that the Albanian PM, Interior Minister and Saimir Tahiri have initiated a campaign of threats against the Prosecution and the Judiciary, creating a dangerous game that will deepen impunity in our country.

“I appeal the EU and USA, and other western partners who contributed with the drafting of our judiciary reform, to pressure the Prime Minister and the government to stop this campaign of threats against the judiciary, which aims to guarantee impunity and corruption”, Basha said, adding that Tahiri should be tried the same as every other citizen and should not receive protection from the Parliament.,
