Basha in Brussels: “We can’t compromise with democracy”

While the Democratic Party militants blocked several roads today, the opposition leader, Lulzim Basha, traveled to Brussels for several meetings.
Basha said in a Twitter message that he had met with the President of the European Popular Parties, Joseph Daul. He quoted him of saying: “There can be no compromise for democracy, the rule of law and media freedom”.
“The Democratic party is fighting for the same European Values in Albania, and we have the support of the EPP, our European political family”, Basha wrote.
